This simple tool will be useful in a small workshop, garage or barn - especially if you have a lot of hammers on the farm and you cannot find a permanent storage place for them. With the help of such a metal holder it is possible to avoid constant cluttering up the room with a “mountain” of tools, which means it will become more spacious and comfortable for work.

What is needed for this and where to start?

First you need to prepare "landing" rings for hammers 2-3 cm wide by cutting billets from a steel pipe of suitable diameter. Next, you need to measure the workbench, table or wooden pedestal on which the structure itself will be mounted.

After that, you need to prepare two steel plates of the required length (based on the dimensions of the workbench or stand) and bend them in a vice with the letter "P". Then on the wide side of each plate, it is necessary to weld the "landing" rings, cut from a steel pipe.
On the edges of both plates (for this they need to be attached to one another), it is necessary to weld the elements of bolt fastening. At the final stage of work, it remains only to process both parts of the structure on a belt grinding machine in order to remove burrs and other "remains" of machining. To give the holder a more aesthetic appearance, the inner and outer surfaces can be painted.

The last stage of work - fastening

Metal plates with rings are mounted on a workbench, table or cabinet on both sides, and then simply pulled together with bolts or studs with nuts. That's all - the practical hammer holder is ready. Now your tool will always be in one place, which is very convenient. A detailed assembly process for this design can be seen in the video on our website.
