In the process of constructing a private house or carrying out repairs and finishing the facade of the building, some operations have to be performed at height. Use ladders (aluminum or others) for this is not very convenient. The best option is to buy scaffolding. That's just such designs are expensive and not everyone can afford.
However, solving this problem is very simple. You can make homemade scaffolding from aluminum ladders. For this, in addition to the stairs themselves, you will also need to make two metal stops of a triangular shape, on which you can put a wooden board of suitable sizes.
Basic materials and manufacturing process
For this homemade product you will need two long and two short pieces of steel angle, as well as three pairs of metal plates of different lengths (20 cm, 33 cm and 40 cm). Two triangular frames must be welded from the plates, at the edges of which two corners are welded - short and long.
It is additionally necessary to weld a piece of a rectangular plate to the free edge. After this, the places of the welds and the surface of the products are ground using a grinder or any other available method. To protect against corrosion, it is advisable to paint the resulting stops for stairs.
