It is not difficult to assemble a powerful portable flashlight on your own. The main thing is the desire, as well as the availability of the necessary materials and tools. The body of this lamp is one-piece and is made on a lathe. An aluminum blank of suitable sizes is used as the basis.
The length of a homemade LED flashlight is 45 cm, and the diameter of its widest part is 85 mm. Based on these sizes, this device can hardly be called compact, but it turned out to be quite powerful and with a large margin of resource consumption. A 5000 mAh lithium-polymer battery is used as a power source.
Design features of a homemade flashlight
The basis of the entire structure is an aluminum body, machined by a cutter on a turning lathe. There is also a knurled back cover. The case, as expected, is a compartment for the battery, and the entire "filling" is located in the head of the LED flashlight. All connecting structural elements - on the thread.
A car lens is installed inside the head part, and under it there is another lens, but already simple and smaller. A reflector is also provided and an LED is installed, the power of which is 100 watts. The lithium-polymer batteries themselves are connected in series, which allows you to get a voltage of about 36 V.
All electrics, which are located in the head of the LED flashlight, are covered with epoxy for reliability, so that you can not accidentally pull out the wires. The LED itself is fixed on the screws. An on / off button is installed at the top of the flashlight. For a detailed review, see the video on the site.
