For this homemade product you will need a water pipe (diameter of your choice), a piece of steel strip that will be used as a template, two rods of circular cross section and two plates - for attaching the decorative hemisphere to the wall.
The main stages of work
First, we cut the pipe into round parts (their number depends on the size of the decorative element). We process blanks with sandpaper. Then from a piece of steel strip we make a template in the shape of a circle - for this you need a roller bending machine. Using a template, we weld round billets in the form of a hemisphere.
Next, we do the fastening - in two plates we drill three holes. Lateral will be used to fix the hemisphere to the wall, and the central ones need to be inserted, and then steel rods welded. The free ends of the rods are then welded to the inner side of the hemisphere.
If necessary, we process the outer surface of the product with sandpaper so that it is even and smooth. If desired, you can paint, but it is better to preserve the natural luster and heat of the metal. Then we attach the finished decorative element to the wall and enjoy our own masterpiece.
