With this simple grinder, you can evenly, clearly and most importantly - quickly cut various products and blanks from sheet metal. Despite the fact that this homemade product is very simple to manufacture, it is quite effective in operation (especially when it is necessary to cut large volumes of sheet metal).
Manufacturing process
For this homemade product you will need a steel corner 35x35 mm with a wall thickness of 3 mm, from which you will need to cut a piece about 12 cm long.Also, you will need two pieces of a corner 25x25 mm with a wall thickness of 3 mm and a length of 120 mm - the grinder itself will be attached to them.
Next, at the corners of 25x25 mm, make markings on one side and cut a piece at an angle of 45 degrees. Then the two corners are connected to each other by welding - this is necessary in order to evenly drill holes for fixing the housing of the angle grinder.
Assembly assembly
After marking, we drill holes with a diameter of 8 mm, after which we weld the workpieces to a guide angle of 35x35 mm, after fixing the sides on the grinder body. Then proceed to the assembly of the device.
Please note that the lower part of the gearbox must match in height with the base of the guide angle. Then we weld the structural elements together.
