Do you like to often play games on your smartphone? Then make yourself a gamepad with a fan, which is made in the form of a regular joystick. With it, it will not only be much more convenient to play games, but the phone itself will not overheat and will not disconnect from the increased load on the GPU.
To make a home-made gamepad with a fan for a smartphone you will need an affordable and affordable material that can be found in almost every home - cardboard packaging. First you need to cut pieces of cardboard of the required size and cut out the shape of the joystick from them.
It should be noted that the home-made gamepad is adjustable in width, so it can be used for different models of smartphones. The main advantage is the low cost - to make a gamepad you will need cardboard, a control chip, a fan, a battery and a power button.
The main stages of work
In the blank of cardboard we cut out a square “window” for installing a small fan to cool the smartphone. After that, cut the cardboard in half. You will also need to cut two more blanks with a central “window”.
We fix metal rods of wire of suitable thickness to the fan casing above and below using hot melt adhesive. In the middle of the fan case it will be necessary to gum the adhesive using the same hot glue.
At the last stage of the work, we glue two pieces of plywood on the sides, for which the rubber will cling to the fan, and then install the battery, control board and power button, and glue all the blanks from the cardboard together.
