To make this useful home-made fixture, you will need the most affordable and simple materials that can be found in almost any garage or home workshop.

The author uses a steel round pipe with a diameter of 40 mm as the basis for this homemade product. And also two bolts with M12 nuts and a stud with two ordinary nuts and one elongated diameter of 16 mm are required.

First of all, you need to cut a piece of pipe 10 cm long. Having departed from the edge of 20 mm, you need to drill a through hole with a drill with a diameter of 12 mm.

Next, the master welds the washer to the end of the pipe, and then cuts the workpiece lengthwise into two parts so that the holes are on the sides.

The main stages of work

After you cut the pipe in half, you need to remove the burrs using a grinder. Then it will be necessary to weld two M12 bolts on the sides of the elongated nut.

In the next step, it is necessary to weld the nuts on one side of the studs with a diameter of 16 mm, and grind on the other end under the cone.

After that, an elongated nut with bolts welded to it is screwed onto the stud, and halves of the pipe are put on the bolts. So that they do not hang out, the author decided to make guides from two M6 bolts.
