In this review, the author shows how to make a simple fixture with your own hands, with the help of which it will be possible to bend the profile pipes with a cross section of up to 20 mm in an arc.
The fixture itself is attached to a table or workbench. If you need to take it with you somewhere (for example, to the cottage or to the garage), then you do not need to drag the desktop with you - just take a piece of thick chipboard or plywood.
First of all, it is necessary to cut a piece of steel plate with a thickness of 6-8 mm. In the corners we drill holes for attaching to the table. Then we weld a steel cylinder with a hole in the center of the plate.
The main stages of work
Next, you will need to grind a small rod on the lathe to the diameter of the hole in the cylinder. At the end of the stem, thread it. Then, from the pieces of metal, the author makes a conductor.
At the next stage, a handle should be made from a piece of strip and a round pipe. The timing belt is attached to it. We fasten the handle to the base.
Homemade ready. If desired, you can paint it, then fasten it to the table or other surface with screws.
