Now let's get down to the process of creating a decorative flower pot. And first of all, it is necessary to cut a long strip from a rag (for example, from an old sheet) or several strips and wrap a jar with them.
The main stages of work
The next step is to prepare a very plastic cement mortar. With this solution you need to coat the jar itself, giving it the shape of a barrel.
Then, using a piece of corner and trowel, the author makes vertical furrows on the “fur coat”, imitating oak planks.
Then it remains only to make two hoops from the cement mortar in the lower and upper parts, as on real barrels, and "put" rivets. After that, leave the solution to dry completely.
