If you like to cook food in nature (for example, pilaf or fish soup), you will need a rack for a cauldron. You can make it with your own hands from a profile pipe and a screw jack.
First of all, it will be necessary to cut off two workpieces from a profile pipe 60x40 mm. One piece is 70 cm long, the second is shorter. It will need to make a semicircular cutout grinder.
Then the author cuts another piece of a round metal pipe. All blanks must be cleaned with a grinder from dirt and rust. And then a piece of round pipe must be welded to a long piece of profile.
The main stages of work
The author welds a short section of a profile pipe with a semicircular cut to the car rim. The welding spot will need to be pre-cleaned with a flap wheel.
Next, the author cuts another piece of the profile 60x40 mm, and welds it to the bottom of the rim. And then we weld all the parts together.
A piece of a round tube is welded to the screw jack. After that, we make a slot in the rack itself. The jack must be inserted into the round pipe and fixed with screws.
At the last stage, it remains only to make a hook for the cauldron. To do this, the author uses a thick wire. And the final touch is painting.
