The device has a rigid structure and is a base with a stand, which are made of a professional pipe.
The main elements are lateral stops-stops that hold the wheel in an upright position, as well as an erratic wheel drive mechanism.
With this home-made clip-lock, you can fix both the front and rear wheels of the motorcycle, which is very convenient.
The main stages of work
And first of all, it will be necessary to cut the workpieces from the profile pipe, and weld the base of the retainer from them. In the place where the wheel will race, it is better to weld a piece of a thick plate.
At the next stage, the author welds a rack on which the side stops-stops for the wheel will be mounted. They are made from scraps of a corner and a profile pipe, and strips are welded along the edges.
Then it remains only to grind and paint the metal. At the ends, the author installs plastic plugs (or you can put wooden ones).
