In this review, the master shares an interesting idea for the workshop - how to make a simple, but useful tool for the grinder (angle grinder) with your own hands.
For its manufacture, pieces of sheet metal will be required, as well as a stud with two nuts and bolts.
First of all, we cut two strips of the same length from sheet metal of suitable thickness.
We make a marking, and drill one fixing hole in each strip. We bend the edges of the blanks along the marking line.
The main stages of work
At the next stage, the author welds a hairpin to one of the strips (you can use a bolt after cutting off the cap).
Then we fasten all the details to the grinder body. The second strip is also welded to the stud.
Next, cut a rectangular plate from a piece of sheet metal. One edge is slightly bent up.
Then it will be necessary to use a grinder to make a slot under the cutting disc. We weld the mount to the plate (for this, the author uses two nuts).
At the last stage, we attach a homemade device to the grinder with bolts, and you can work.
