In this review, the author shows how to make a hairpin with your own hands from a garage welded loop. This useful tool can be useful both at home or in the country, and in the garage.
The main purpose of this tool is to unscrew the studs or bolts from the holes in which the hat has broken off.
From the loop we need only one part - "dad". It is necessary to drill two blind holes in it: with a diameter of 12 mm and 6 mm.
Using a grinder, cut out the groove at the bottom. And then from the top we cut a piece along the width of the groove.
The main stages of work
In the resulting workpiece (roller), you need to drill a hole for a hairpin with a diameter of 5 mm.
Then, so that the roller can cling to the thread, with the help of a grinder, it is necessary to make notches on it.
In the next step, a 24 mm socket head must be welded to the top of the loop.
We fix the roller with the help of a hairpin (in it you need to make a cut on the end), and the homemade product is ready.
We put on the head a ratchet key or a knob, and you can begin to unscrew the studs and broken bolts.
