The hot season is very close, and mothers start worrying about summer dresses for themselves and their daughter. Of course, you should think about a headdress. On the one hand, a beautiful hat adorns the summer outfit; on the other, it protects the head from the hot sun. Panama suits any age, and decorations for it can be made very different.
Knitting technique.
Step 1. The basis of the panama.
For knitting, you need the size of the head circumference and the depth of the panama. We finish all rows with a connecting loop.
1 row. 5 watt connect to the ring, 3 watt rise, knit in the ring 15 stn1.

2 row. 3 watt + 1 watt, knit rapport * 1 watt, 1 rst *. To knit a crocheted embossed column, we introduce a hook under the crochet, pull the thread, and make a crochet. In total, there will be 16 columns in a row.

3 row. 3 watt, then rapport * 1 watt, 1 stn1, 1 rst in one loop *. We make a double crochet into an air loop, we knit a relief over a relief.

4 row. 3 watt + 1 watt, over embossed knit embossed, 1 watt, 1 stn1 above the double crochet, then rapport * 1 watt, 1 rst, 1 watt, 1 stn1 *.
5 row. 3 watt, double crochet, there is 1 stn1, then go * 1 watt, 1 relay, 1 watt, 2 stn1 * (photo 5-1), one column is obtained above the column, the second between the loops.

For the cap in the photo, the diameter of the circle was sufficient to continue knitting without changing the number of columns. To calculate this diameter, you need to divide the head circumference by 3.14.

We knit the 8th row and subsequent rows without adding columns. When knitting the crown of the yarn, I crocheted the vertices of the lower column, while knitting the pipe, I knitted between the columns for greater openwork. We make the last three rows with single crochet for knitting fields.
Note: to further increase the diameter of the circle, you need to continue to add columns.
Step 2. Knitting fields.
To make the fields more rigid, use a smaller hook.
We knit 1 row with simple columns, making in each third loop 2 stb.
2 - 3 rows we knit 2 watt, 1 rst, then * 1stn1, 1 rst *. We knit the columns one above the other, keeping the ladder of embossed columns.
4-5 rows we crochet a larger size with the same rapport.
Note: the number of rows for fields can be increased.
Step 3. Panama design.
We make the strapping of the fields with a crawl step. We knit decoration.

How to tie a twig with leaves.
Work sequence:
• gain 12 volts. Starting from the second loop, we knit 1 stbn, 2 pstn1, 5 stn1, 2 pstn1, 1 stbn. One side of the leaf is ready,
• we pick up 2 volt for rounding, and with the same rapport we knit on the other side of the chain,
• make the middle of the leaf with connecting loops,
• we knit for a branch 3 leaves,
• for the stem, we pick up several green air loops, and begin to tie the first leaf with single crochet,
• after tying the leaf with SC, we knit the stalk to go to the next leaf,
• similarly do with the knitting of the remaining leaves.
How to tie a flower
Summer hats do not need a bulky flower design, so we knit a flower very simple:
• we make a ring, and we knit 13 stbn into it,
• for a petal we make 3 watt, 3 stn2 in the next loop, 3 watt, then we introduce a hook into the next loop and knit it with a connecting one,
• knit this petal all the petals.
