To make a leather cover, we need to take:
• A piece of skin measuring 20 * 30 cm;
• Sintepon;
• White cardboard;
• Two blanks from binding cardboard measuring 9.5 * 13.4 cm;
• The inscription passport and a picture with a spectacular girl, printed on a color printer, and then laminated (this can be done in any photo studio);
• Pendant metal color bronze Eiffel Tower;
• Brads are plain purple and silver-plated with red stone;
• Scrapbooking paper;
• Glue with the effect of double-sided tape;
• Glue stick;
• scissors;
• Ruler and pencil;
• Double-sided tape;
• Passport for the sample;
• Needle with thread;
• Sewing machine;
• Burgundy threads.
So, we proceed to the first step, the manufacture of a cardboard backing for the cover. I want to immediately warn that the thickness of the product is decent, so the machine should flash a thick layer. We put two binding rectangles 9.5 * 13.4 cm, cut out a strip of white thick cardboard 5.5 * 13.4 cm. Divide the cardboard strip into three parts 2.5 * 0.5 * 2.5 cm and draw (draw lines bending).
Now on both sides, we smear this strip with glue stick and glue it on binding cardboard, connect it to the cover.
Now we cut off a piece of leather so that in width we get two pockets of 5.5 cm and 19.8 for the width of the cover itself, and measure 18.5 cm in height, leaving it in the gates.
Now we measure a piece of padding polyester on the size of the binding blank. We glue a synthetic winterizer using pieces of double-sided tape.
Now we twist the sides of the leather cut and wind with the help of a thread with a needle.
Now we need a little imagination, we wrap the skin on top and on the sides, in order to figure out where we put the picture and the inscription "Passport". By double-sided strips of adhesive tape we glue the inscription and the picture with the girl. Laminate the pictures so that when you wear the cover is not rubbed and not wet.
We sew both the picture and the inscription on the typewriter with white threads. Now we cut the flower out of the skin, inside it we insert the brads with the stone, and in the upper corner we fix the tower with the help of the metal brads.
We flush the sides of the cover with a machine already in burgundy threads. Turn over a piece of leather face down and put a cardboard blank. Now we need to glue the twists using a glue stick.
We spread the upper part, press it well and hold it a little under the press, then we do the same from the bottom. Now grab the machine with the up and down gates on both sides. Cut off a section of 13.2 * 19.3 cm from scrapbook paper.
We spread the entire cardboard surface with glue stick and glue the scrap to the workpiece, smooth it and press it.
Now pull and wrap the sides. In several places we grab into a manual needle. Now we sew the entire cover in a circle with a claret machine.
The bastards are cleaned carefully and ready. It remains only to pack on a gift or put your passport in it. Thanks for your attention!
